Welcome to Rowena Field Photography.

Custom photography is a great way to create unique artwork featuring your own family - whether it is bound in an album, framed on a shelf, or printed on canvas for your wall.

People come in all shapes and size, but we are all precious. To God. To our family. I love to capture that preciousness in a way that others can also see - quality images that become family heirlooms. My photography is lifestyle, reflecting real moments and emotion.

I am a mother, a wife, a physiotherapist and a photographer. I love living on the beach after growing up on a farm and then spending 14 years in outback NSW. I am blessed to live on Jervis Bay that provides unlimited fabulous locations for photoshoots.

I am an accredited member of the Australian Institute of Professional photographers, and member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association with a Masters degree in Physiotherapy.

I look forward to the opportunity to create images for you.

The whole side of the old house really.

I drive past this old house on the way to work. For such a long time I have imagined all sorts of photoshoots that I could do using it as a location. It is the bit about asking permission from the owner that makes me keep chickening out. I toyed with the idea of asking for forgiveness rather than permission. Maybe they wouldn’t have a problem with it.

That other pesky job that I have however, is based on work health and safety, evaluating injury risk ….and on an on….. So I easily see all the inherent dangers in taking models and putting them in it.

My solution. Shoot the house from the road. Put the model in after the fact. Worked out pretty well I think!
